Location: Albany, Auckland
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Rostered Days Off: Saturday and Sunday

Why You’ll Love This Role
As a Stock Controller at Torpedo7 Albany, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our store runs smoothly and efficiently. While you may not be on the front line with customers, your behind-the-scenes work directly impacts their experience. You’ll work closely with the in-store team to manage stock levels, maintain organised storage spaces, and ensure our systems are accurate. You’ll be the go-to person for all things stock-related, fostering strong internal relationships and contributing to the overall success of the store.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain Stock Accuracy: Ensure stock levels are accurately recorded and systems are kept up to date, so customers and team members can trust the information.
- Organise Storage Spaces: Keep the stockroom and storage areas tidy and efficient to make stock retrieval seamless.
- Support the Team: Collaborate with the team to resolve any stock-related inquiries or issues, ensuring smooth operations.
- Adapt to New Systems: Use stock management systems efficiently and adapt quickly to any updates or new tools.
- Contribute to the Team: Actively participate in team meetings and support peak operational times with enthusiasm and teamwork.
- Stock Management Expertise: Experience in stock control and confidence in using or learning stock management systems.
- Passion for the Outdoors: A love for adventure and enthusiasm for our products.
- Great Communication Skills: The ability to connect with the team and support them with stock-related queries.
- Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for accuracy in stock data and storage organisation.
- Physical Fitness: Comfortable with standing, lifting, and moving stock as part of your daily routine.
- Adaptability and Resilience: Thrive in a dynamic retail environment with changing priorities.
- Bonus: A forklift license is preferred but not essential.
